As a luxury German automobile manufacturer, Audi launches need to reflect their passion, technology and quality being showcased, even if it’s a sponsored event. It was our job to make sure they were first class to stop the press.
Top automotive journalists are bombarded with similar events, however. To increase interest, we had to find unique locations, which could be cleverly branded while accommodating a short set-up and breakdown. Next, it was critical to remove any potential barriers to attending Audio events and create supporting, easy-to-digest and informative literature.
We created theming that reflected the prestige of the vehicle, the key features being launched, and the premium feel of the Audi brand. It started with the invitation – a simple piece of print – but produced with high production values, such as something really bespoke, such as a ballet shoe. We look to brand the venue in imaginative ways to get people talking, such as replacing features of the property with something subtly Audi branded.
Year after year, Audi events accommodate a packed house with positive feedback. It’s little wonder that Audi’s press department is labelled the best in the automotive industry.
