Junior Designer

What we see the role:

We are recruiting for a Junior Designer, this is a fantastic opportunity for a graphic designer to take the next step in their career and learn the ropes from some experienced seniors and become a key part of a growing team. We’re specifically looking for a creative and enthusiastic junior to provide support and take responsibility for the ongoing creation of brand assets, help with idea generation, visualisation of new campaigns and artworking. In this role, you will need to be a highly creative individual with a sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee visual consistency in projects (layout, Typography)
  • Understand project requirements and concepts
  • Produce client-ready designs (like logos, banners, interfaces)
  • Pitch creative ideas
  • Collaborate with team members to launch projects
  • Undertake special design tasks (e.g. retouching images)
  • Create proposal/pitch visuals
  • Help with administrative tasks
  • Design a range of print and digital materials
  • Taking a brief from Account Managers
  • Artworking print ready files and proofing
  • Use feedback from other designers to improve and broaden your abilities

Requirements

  • Experience with design software and graphics editing tools (e.g. Adobe creative suite)
  • Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping)
  • Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
  • Teamwork skills
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Time management and multitasking abilities
  • Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
  • BSc/BA in Design or a related field
