The Challenge.

Both reducing and mitigating risk in business operations is an evolving threat, no matter how small or large your business is. We helped Sungard Availability Services empower the business world to better protect themselves from risks to their technology, operations and the wider organisation. Designing and executing a free to use educational program based around Sungard’s ‘Model for Resilience’ our eLMS was the perfect solution to compliment and deliver the complex course modules. The campaign needed to resonate with a wide-ranging audience and deliver complex ideas in an easily understandable and engaging way.

Our Approach.

Content creation

The subject matter was vast and complex, so we knew we needed to get under the skin of it straight away. We quickly performed a series of deep dive discovery sessions with key opinion leaders and experts from within the business and gathered information about the model for resilience.

Sungard storyboard

The outputs of the discovery sessions bore a need to create a detailed multi-course, multi-module structure with a watch, learn, test, graduate formula for each topic: Technology Resilience, Operational Resilience and Organisational Resilience.

We curated copywriting, storyboards, and filmed video content which we animated, edited and produced into bite-sized, consumable chunks.

With so much detailed information to convey, our content teams strategised a multi-channel approach, focusing on creating a series of videos to be hosted on our powerful e-learning platform. 

Platform development

Our skilled in-house team of developers built the e-learning platform using dotnet core and React, offering flexibility, scalability and security in one easy-to-deploy package. The platform features video streaming, multiple quiz question types and formats, downloadable assets and built-in email communications including course updates, reminders and a live chat.

The project was complemented by an Alexa skill which was designed to seamlessly integrate with the course module, delivering easily accessible on-the-go content and allowing course participants to listen, and then pick the course back up where they left off on another device.

Sungard on mobile

While not overtly a lead generation campaign, integration into Sungard's CRM was essential. The sign-up mechanisms captured registration details and passed them through Pardot and into Sungard's CRM, allowing both business development and sales teams to follow up with participants and resilience training graduates, with full visibility of each person's progress through the integrated course dashboards and reporting tools.

The Results.

Impression goal exceeded.

The campaign hit over 1 million impressions in the first month, with 42 thousand social media interactions.

Well received internally.

Internal feedback highlighted its value as a business development tool, with sales teams reporting increased confidence in discussing resilience solutions with prospects who had engaged with the training.

High adoption rates.

The platform saw strong adoption, with an average engagement rate of 4.5%.

Positioned them as thought leaders.

The platform has successfully established Sungard Availability Services as a thought leader in business resilience education.
