About This Project

Audi

Being a luxury German automobile manufacturer, launching a new vehicle needs to reflect the passion, technology and quality being showcased, even if it’s a sponsored event. At h2o we’ve been working with Audi for over 17 years to make sure their events are first class. It’s our job to stop the press.

Challenge:

  • Leading automotive journalists are bombarded with similar events
  • To find unique locations, which can be cleverly branded
  • Remove any potential barriers to attend the events
  • Create supporting easy-to-digest and informative literature
  • Accommodate very short set-up and breakdown and vehicle turnarounds

Solution:

Create theming that reflects the prestige of the vehicle, its key features being launched and the premium feel of the Audi brand. It starts with the invitation – a simple piece of print – but produced with high production values, such as something really bespoke, like a ballet shoe, as we’ve done in the past. We look to brand the venue in imaginative ways that will have people talking; that could be replacing features of the property with something subtly Audi branded.

Results:

Year after year, Audi events accommodate a packed house with positive feedback. The result? Audi’s press department is labeled the best in the automotive industry.
